  • For identifying injured, ill, or deceased persons and communicating with next of kin
  • If we have reasonable grounds to believe an individual has been, is, or may be victim of financial abuse
  • If it is reasonable to expect collection and use with consent would compromise the availability or the accuracy of the information and the collection is reasonable for purposes related to investigating a breach of an agreement or a contravention of the laws of Canada or a province
  • If disclosure is required to comply with a subpoena, warrant, court order, or rules of the court relating to the production of records
  • If it was produced by an individual in the course of their employment, business, or profession and the collection is consistent with the purposes for which the information was produced

🏛️“Lost in Lisbon” series: Ribeiro Caleia Mansion 🏛️“Lost in Lisbon” series: Ribeiro Caleia Mansion (Part I). At Av. Liberdade 193 stands a late-romantic urban mansion which now serves as flagship store of @massimodutti Lisbon. (Türkçesi yorumlarda) 🪶Once acquired by #CiprianoRibeiroCaleia from #AdrianoBarataSalgueiro—a notable 19th-century Lisbon figure, lawyer, and benefactor who played a direct role in shaping the Liberdade Avenue itself*—the mansion later passed through public use, including state offices such as the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and historical archives, before its careful rehabilitation. (*Salgueiro even donated land to support the avenue’s construction, and his legacy remains embedded in the city through the adjacent Rua Barata Salgueiro, named in his honour.).Architecturally, the building is a textbook example of Beaux-Arts influence filtered through Lisbon’s late-romantic eclecticism. Its chamfered corner anchors the intersection, while oculi windows and dormers punctuate the roofline, bringing rhythm and light to the upper floors. A mansard level and a sculptural turret crown the structure, all unified under a black French-tiled mansard roof. Inside, coffered ceilings, a monumental staircase, and layered decorative detailing preserve its original palatial character..Today, the building has been meticulously transformed into #MassimoDutti’s Lisbon flagship without erasing its identity. Designed by Lázaro Rosa Violán/ @lazarorosaviolan (visionary Barcelona-based interior designer behind iconic projects such as #JNcQUOI in Lisbon and known for creating layered, atmospheric spaces that blend historic character with contemporary design), the intervention was carefully planned to be reversible, ensuring the mansion could return to its original form in the future if needed. ♥️Across its restored rooms, the original spatial hierarchy is respected: grand residential salons now host curated collections, while former service and private areas have been reimagined into immersive retail environments. …(continues in the comments below⬇️).⏳Visit historical structures of Lisbon with my “#LostinLisbon” series@jncquoi.avenida @avenida.liberdade (due to visible brands: Ad)
